Terms & Conditions

AGE
You must be 18 years or over to participate in any course, class or program.

ATTENDANCE & PARTICIPATION

  1. Classes will begin promptly at the advertised times.

  2. You are expected to be in class and ready to work at these times and to attend the whole class - unless particular circumstances mean you must leave early. Each such circumstance must be agreed upon with your tutor before class begins.

  3. It is a factor of our Technique that you will learn as much from watching the work of others as you do from working yourself. Students are expected to participate fully at all times and to show appropriate respect for others’ work.

LATECOMERS
Latecomers, no matter what the reason, will only be permitted to join the class at the break, which is generally at the halfway mark of the class.

MISSED SESSIONS
If you choose to miss sessions, whether through paid work or for personal reasons, this will not normally affect your payment arrangements or entitle you to a refund or partial refund.  However, we will always take into account exceptional circumstances, provided these are agreed upon on an individual basis before your period of absence.

PAYMENTS

  1. Deposits are non-refundable.

  2. All courses are to be paid in full, 2 weeks prior to commencement unless a payment plan is in place.

  3. All Drop-In classes are to be pre-paid, before class commences.

CANCELLATIONS

  1. In the event of a course being cancelled by The Impulse Company Australia, for reasons within their control, any deposits or balance payments will be fully refunded.

  2. Should classes be unable to go ahead in person, arrangements will be made for classes to move online. If online is not possible, classes will resume when it is deemed safe to do so by Government or other relevant guidelines.

FINANCIAL HARDSHIP

  1. Within the bounds of practicality, we do everything we can to ensure that financial issues do not debar a student from taking an offered place. Please get in touch if you need to talk about an individual payment arrangement.

  2. If you find yourself with financial issues during the course, please get in touch so that we can make a new payment arrangement before you get behind.

WITHDRAWALS/REFUNDS

Please Note: All deposits are non-refundable.

  1. Should you withdraw from a course less than 14 days before the commencement of that course, no refund will be issued.

  2. Should you withdraw from a course after it has commenced, no refund will be given.

  3. Should you withdraw from a course after it has commenced and an installment payment option has been arranged, your payments will continue until the cost of the course is complete.
